HIT Milling – 3-Axis Machining PREMIUM

HIT Milling – 3-Axis Machining PREMIUM is another classroom license of HIT, and costs € 660 plus VAT. It offers you an enhanced scope of functions: a classroom license (20 stations) with additional possibilities in the HEIDENHAIN learning platform, such as storage space for additional contents or forums.

The learning package includes the following modules:

Milling Fundamentals

The Milling Fundamentals learning module makes it easier to get started in the world of CNC milling technology, and imparts the necessary basic knowledge. These contents are a prerequisite for NC programming.
Further information makes it possible to enhance individual topics, such as the contents about the function blocks of a control or in general through the linked PDF files.

The learning module includes, for example:

  • CNC fundamentals
  • Programming basics

Acquired skills:

  • Creating a main directory
  • Creating a file
  • Defining a workpiece blank
  • Performing a simulation and test run

Contour Programming

The Contour Programming learning module gives you the capability to program contours yourself according to the information in the technical drawings.

The learning module includes, for example:

  • Linear path functions
  • Additional contouring functions
  • Circular path functions
  • Free contour programming
  • Knowledge test

Acquired skills:

  • Programming contours
    • Linear and circular path functions
    • Free contour programming
  • Applying radius compensation

Cycle Programming

The Cycle Programming learning module imparts the basics of cycle programming and gives you the capability to program simple machining cycles yourself.

The learning module includes, for example:

  • Overview of cycles
  • Simple machining cycles

Acquired skills:

  • Programming drilling cycles
  • Programming hole patterns
  • Applying your knowledge to other cycles

Programming Techniques

The Programming Techniques learning module imparts the basics of programming techniques and gives you the capability to program simple program-section repeats and subprograms yourself.

The learning module includes, for example:

  • Programming structuring
  • Program optimization

Acquired skills:

  • Optimizing NC programs using program-section repeats
  • Using subprograms to reuse machining positions

Soon after you enter your data you will receive an e-mail from the HEIDENHAIN learning platform. You can then use the user name and password from this e-mail to register yourself as administrator at hit.heidenhain-lms.de and use HIT Milling – 3-Axis Machining PREMIUM.

Comment

If you have already registered for another HIT 3.0 license type or for another HIT 3.0 learning package, you will not receive any further mail from the HEIDENHAIN learning platform after ordering. Your existing account will automatically be extended with the new learning package and you can log in with your existing user name and password.

An online classroom with up to 20 participants is then assigned to you, as administrator, within the HEIDENHAIN learning platform. Then you can invite your participants to the classroom via e-mail. The participants register themselves with their login data, and can then use the learning platform. With HIT Milling – 3-Axis Machining PREMIUM you have the possibility, as administrator, of using the following functions within the learning platform, above and beyond the functions of the BASIS classroom license:

  • You can upload your own course materials in various file formats
  • You can integrate forums for your participants
  • You can gather and sort the participants for group work
