Question:

The transmission of NC programs on a PC to a programming station installed on it is not possible with TNCremo. How can the error 2000172D be avoided?

Answer:

2000172D: File access not possible

This error occurs during transmission of longer NC programs to the demo version of the programming station (as of NC software no. 340494-04). In the demo version the program is truncated after 100 NC blocks and this error is output.

This error also often occurs when reading out the TOOL.T file, in particular during serial data transmission. For older software versions, transmission via the serial interface does not permit line lengths exceeding approx. 250 characters. This error is output if the TOOL.T file is configured such that the table lines can be longer than 250 characters.

Solution:

• Hide specific columns that are not needed

• Upload the newest NC software, which permits line lengths up to 1024 characters
