DIN/ISO

NC FAQ1027

Question:

Can I also write DIN/ISO programs on the TNC?

Answer:

When you enter a program name, you specify the file type by appending a period and an extension after the file name. The extension .H (as in PGM1.H) opens the program in conversational format. The extension .I (as in PGM1.I) opens the program in DIN/ISO format. In addition to conventional DIN/ISO program input, the keys you are familiar with for the initiation of programming dialogs in conversational language are also available. For example, the RND key (for corner rounding) also opens the corresponding DIN/ISO command G25.
