Programming station with local PC keyboard

Why can't I switch the keyboard for the programming station to the local PC keyboard?

The programming station saves certain data in the C:\temp folder. If this folder does not exist, the programming station cannot change the keyboard settings. To solve the problem, create a folder called “temp” on the C: drive.
