LSV2 on iTNC 530

Question:

We use milling machines with TNC 430 and iTNC 530 controls from HEIDENHAIN. TNCremo is used to send programs to the controls over the serial interface.

The iTNC 530 does show the baud rate of the LSV2 protocol, but the LSV2 protocol itself cannot be selected.

Answer:

The iTNC 530 automatically detects whether the LSV-2 protocol is being used for transmission. If this doesn't work, then perhaps either the NC software or the version of TNCremo is too old. You can download the current version of TNCremo from our website at no charge.
